The gold finish is quite fine and goes perfectly with my antiqued gold picture frame. Easy to install. Throws off a large amount of light.

All in all this lamp meets my need, is the right color and was easy to install. I would have liked it to be capable of further retraction and for it to be a little more stable on my frame. Other wise AOK.
