Most everything I liked about the ones I bought for the exterior areas in brown, but the white ones I bought as indoor spots looked too big and clunky for this purpose. All in, it's a nice light in the right place.

It was hard to find a light fixture that was truly rated for the outdoors. It is for an outdoor covered cooking area that is has some exposure to the elements. They fit the decor and area well; so far (one month) they have performed well and were not difficult to install. We had them installed by a professional. The real proof will be in 6 months to a year as we expect them to withstand the elements, operate properly and look good. They are relatively expensive when compared to similar indoor only models, so I expect them to live up to the investment.

We put these out on the patio on a high ceiling. We turned one down at the table and one shining up above the door to light up the wood ceiling. They look great. Be careful though, the bulbs that were recommended for this light were not the correct ones and we had to return them.
